Taylor Bins Run

For Tuesday, July 7, 2026. ASFOUND sleeper lanes, marker traps, and evidence asks.

Verified July 7, 2026 No condition lecture Evidence over vibes
Practical call Not a thrift lesson. Look for timeless uniform pieces with searchable evidence: code, tag, contract, silhouette. If it is a maybe, send the marker photo and one-line title seed.

ASFOUND Lens

Uniform

Prioritize pieces that read like everyday uniform: denim, duck, wool, fatigue, chore, field, blank fleece, and plain heritage boots.

Evidence

Tags matter when they disambiguate: Levi's tab/care stack/button stamp, Carhartt style code, DSA/DLA/NSN, union label, Woolmark + brand.

Sleeper

The better bins finds may be dull: Ben Davis, Stan Ray, Round House, L.L.Bean field/chamois, military liners, clean work pants.

Story

A keeper should be easy to title in one line: "USA Orange Tab 517," "DSA M-65 liner," "Ben Davis gorilla-cut work pant."

Same-day estate-sale add-ons

  • ReadTuesday results near Chicago skew furniture, demolition, online auctions, and general estate goods.
  • SignalNo strong same-day clothing/workwear/denim sale surfaced in the quick refresh.
  • UseDo Romeoville first. Add another stop only if it is already on the route, cheap to park, and visibly textile-heavy.

Margin Shorthand

Item Typical Weight Bins Cost at $1.99/lb Worth Attention When
Jeans / work pants 1.25-1.75 lb $2.50-$3.50 Specific cut/brand or workwear shape gives a searchable title
Sweatshirt / blank fleece 0.75-1.25 lb $1.50-$2.50 Large size, heavyweight fabric, good blank label, or strong color/fade
Work jacket / chore coat 2-3 lb $4-$6 Style code, Detroit/chore silhouette, lining, or faded duck gives a real comp path
Wool shirt / outdoor layer 1-1.75 lb $2-$3.50 Brand + shape beats generic plaid: board shirt, field layer, blanket, chamois
Wool blanket / heavy outerwear 3-5 lb $6-$10 Known wool/outdoor brand or distinctive blanket pattern
Boots, pair 2.5-4 lb $5-$8 Model/size is readable and the brand has sold-comp gravity

This is here for ASFOUND economics, not thrift judgment. At bins prices, the question is whether the piece has a searchable route, not whether it is merely "nice."

False Positives

Things that need a second marker

  • Carhartt RN#14806: company ID, not style/date. Useful only with silhouette, style code, lining, and color.
  • Big E / Orange Tab: strong signal, but modern premium/LVC can reuse older-looking tabs. Check care stack and construction.
  • Made in USA: raises attention, not value by itself. Category and silhouette still decide.
  • Woolmark alone: quality clue, not a brand. Best when paired with Pendleton, Woolrich, L.L.Bean, or a strong shape.
  • Single-stitch blanks: low-dollar unless size, fade, fabric, or label makes the story obvious.
  • Active ask prices: do not set buy caps. Sold examples beat loud listings, especially on Carhartt and boots.

Priority Board

Lane Sleeper Signal Evidence To Shoot ASFOUND Read Likely Route
Orange Tab Levi's 517, black denim, denim jackets, unusual non-501 cuts, wearable larger waists. Tab, care tag, button back stamp, full cut/fit label, waist + inseam. Ordinary pairs are fine; strong 517s, black denim, and jackets are the actual margin. eBay / Depop
Work jackets Detroit shape, chore coat, blanket lining, faded duck, cord collar, shopwear that is not logo-loud. Style code area, lining, collar, color, size, zipper pull, any date code. J01/J001/J97 are different stories. Do not let RN#14806 do any work. eBay
Classic work pants Ben Davis Gorilla Cut, Stan Ray/Earl's Apparel, Round House, Pointer/L.C. King, hickory stripe. Brand tag, union/USA language, waist, cut name, inseam, front/back silhouette. Boring uniform pants are closer to the brand than loud tees. Bigger waists and classic cuts matter. eBay / Whatnot
Wool / outdoor Pendleton board shirt/49er, Woolrich buffalo, L.L.Bean chamois or field coat, wool blankets. Neck label, Woolmark if present, fiber tag, size, pattern, special model details. Better when it feels like field/outdoor uniform, not generic plaid. Blankets can beat shirts. eBay / Etsy
Military layers M-65 liners, field jackets, fatigue shirts/pants, OG-107 styling, subdued utility overshirts. DSA/DLA/NSN, contract label location, size, liner/hood presence, contract language. Readable contract data turns "army jacket" into a searchable listing. eBay / Etsy
Sweats / blanks Russell/Champion USA, heavyweight hoodies, XXL, unusual brown/green/faded blanks. Label, size, fabric content, cuff/neck construction, color in daylight. Solo-list only when the blank has weight, label, size, and color. Otherwise it is bundle/show inventory. Whatnot / Depop
Heritage boots Red Wing, Danner, Chippewa, Thorogood, Wolverine 1000 Mile, USA work/outdoor boots. Inside size/model, sole brand, welt, heel, outsole wear, side profile. Model is the unlock. Seed comps already include Red Wing Iron Ranger/Super Sole, Danner Acadia, Thorogood USA, and Wolverine 1000 Mile. eBay

Two-Of-Four Rule

A maybe is useful to ASFOUND when it has at least two of these four: named brand, readable model/style/contract code, distinctive silhouette, or production evidence such as USA/union/DSA/DLA/NSN. One strong premium hand-feel can override, but one lonely marker usually should not.

  • Buy/list path: two or more markers plus a known lane from the Priority Board.
  • Research path: two markers but unclear value; send tag/detail photos and the question.
  • Radar path: repeated almost-buys in the same category. Three similar unknowns becomes a research task.

Lookup Cheats

Levi's

Shoot tab, care label, cut/fit label, and button back. Orange Tab gets interesting when it is 517/black/jacket/unusual silhouette, not just because the tab is orange.

Carhartt

Find the real style/color/date area, usually lower on the tag stack. J01/J001/J97 are listing language; RN#14806 is not.

Workwear Pants

Ben Davis, Stan Ray, Round House, Pointer/L.C. King: shoot brand tag, cut name, waist, and leg shape. Wide/straight utility cuts beat random khakis.

Military

Do not parse contracts in the aisle. Shoot DSA/DLA/NSN, size, and label location. A readable contract tag turns utility clothing into a compable item.

Wool / Outdoor

Woolmark plus brand plus shape is the stack: Pendleton board/49er, Woolrich buffalo, Bean chamois/field coat, blankets.

Blanks

Russell/Champion/Hanes only matter when size, fabric weight, color/fade, or construction creates a listing. Most blank tees are bundle-only.

Post-Run Buckets

List Now Exact searchable identity: model code, contract number, known cut, recognizable brand/category.
Comp First Interesting marker but uncertain value: send tag/detail photos before deciding price or platform.
Bundle / Live Low-cost basics, blanks, ordinary work pants, and pieces that are clean but not worth a solo listing.
Radar Feed Almost-bought patterns, not random misses. Three similar unknowns in one lane becomes a source/label-wall task.

Text-Back Format

One item = one photo cluster + one line: "Orange Tab 517, 34x30, USA/care tag, black denim, likely eBay" or "unknown wool chore, Woolmark + union tag, needs comp." That is enough for Codex to turn the haul into comps, listing routes, and new label-wall rows.
